Characters in games can have pets too.
Or they could be pets. Imagine a game where everyone is playing a domestic cat or dog. Or perhaps a bird. Something's going on in the neighbourhood and the humans are blissfully unaware, so it's up to the pets to go out and fix things up.

I guess Dagger Bar is a franchise. Or is a fixation of Jim's. Or maybe both at this point!
Time for Chewie and Rey to get captured then? It seems odd that it would only be Chewbacca that gets noticed and captured as he's not Force Sensitive at all. And if the Knights of Ren are actively looking for everyone, why wouldn't they have spotted Rey as well?
Hopefully the whole group doesn't get captured. That'd cause a big mess of the plot from what I can see, and we've hardly gone anywhere as it is!

Poe: Where’s the place the dagger said?
C-3PO: The Factory Gate on Kijimi.
Poe: Kijimi. That’s a planet?
GM: Yes. In the Mid Rim, not far from Wobani.
Poe: There better be a Dagger Bar there.
Finn: {looking out the window of the ship} What’s Rey doing?
Rey: {out on the desert floor} I’m out on the desert floor trying to get a fix on Ren with my Force Vibe.
GM: You’ve walked a few hundred metres—
Poe: You’ll need more than that to triangulate if he’s in orbit.
Finn: We don’t have time for this. Let’s just go before he arrives. Chewie, fetch Rey!
C-3PO: Yes, Chewie! Fetch!
Chewbacca: As if being named after your dog isn’t undignified enough.
Chewbacca: All right, I go get Rey.
{Chewie heads outside}
GM: <roll> Knights of Ren observe as you fixate on reaching Rey.
Chewbacca: Do I spot them?
GM: <roll> Your dignity takes one look and nopes out. You’re captured before you can react.
Finn: Bad dog.
