Episode 318: Even Less Awkward

In some games, such as Toon: The Cartoon Roleplaying Game, you can actually earn roleplaying point awards for doing things that render other players or the GM speechless. That's based on the principle that they are comedy games, and making the other players fall over themselves laughing so hard that they become incoherent is part of the point.

Unfortunately, some people can generate the other form of speechless. Which is not worth points.

{opening beat panel}
Padmé: By "in character" I mean I don't really love you.
Padmé: By "I" I mean... not me Padmé, but me Jim.
Padmé: I mean I love what you're doing with Anakin. Annie.
Padmé: I mean me, Jim, loves that. Padmé doesn't love you because...
Padmé: well... that doesn't make sense.
Padmé: If she did know you she'd probably love you.
Padmé: I mean, you're pretty nice.
Padmé: That's you, Annie, not Anakin.
Padmé: Not that Anakin's not nice.
Padmé: Well, actually he isn't.
Padmé: You know what I, Jim, mean?
Anakin: You know, I thought I knew.
Padmé: You mean you, or you?
