Episode 779: Force Test Dummy

<<FIRST     <PREVIOUS     NEXT>     LATEST>>

Kids learn new things really fast. Everyone knows that. Their minds are geared towards learning stuff and gaining rapid experience from all the new things they see around them.

So if you play a kid in a roleplaying game, they should get an experience bonus and advance in skill levels faster than anyone else. Try that one on your GM next time!

Transcript

Obi-Wan: Good, good. Your midi-chlorians are awakening. Feel the Force flow through you.
Luke: I can't feel anything.
Luke: {softly} Maybe because my arms are going numb.
[SFX]: Whmmmmm...
Obi-Wan: Relax. Try moving the sword a little.
Luke: Oh, good idea. I'm holding a vorpal plasma pillar inches away from my face! What could go wrong?
[SFX]: Whmmm...
Obi-Wan: Now I'm just going to get this drone to shoot at you.
[SFX]: Zap!
GM: You take a point of damage.
[SFX]: Whooom!
Luke: Ow!
Obi-Wan: You're doing great.
Luke: Stop saying that. I'm not! I'm just lame. I can't do this!
[SFX]: Whooom
Luke: I'm going to be the least powerful Jedi ever!
R2-D2: Quit whining. Try going into combat with a shock probe.
Luke: Now I understand why Jedi training starts with little kids.
[SFX]: Whmmmm...
R2-D2: Why?
Luke: They're too young to realise how insanely dangerous it is!
