Of coure you can't actually unleash attacks against the GameMaster in a roleplaying game.
But what if you could?
What if the GM played the traditional role of a neutral referee, but was also a game-mechanical entity within the game, and the PCs could affect them? The PCs might attack the GM and even "kill" them (within the game), leaving the game world without a referee to apply the laws of the universe. The world then begins to unravel, as rules no longer apply.
There are some games with rules that allow players to push back against GM declarations, so that the GM is indeed not all-powerful. Games like Apocalypse World and FATE give the players some limitied resources which they can use to block "GM moves". Basically, the GM declares that something happens, but a player may respond "No, it doesn't", and then use the rule system to insert their own version of events. The is not unlimited, lest the players totally take over everything, but it is small step towards the idea that the GM is essentially another player, rather than the untouchable referee responsible for everything in the game universe.

Well, after being left out here for who knows how long, even if there were weapons I would expect none of them to function without some maintenance. And blasters against star fighters? I know Jim is ambitious and reckless, but there's no way that'd work. Wait, never mind; that's never stopped Jim before or people trying to act like Jim, so I guess this is just his thing.
Anyway, it is definitely time to leave the area, and I don't think the GM prepped for a proper aerial fight this early. That said, Kylo being dumbfounded is about the only way I can see him just letting Rey go. Otherwise, why not keep up the attack? Lightsabers are good against Force Lightning if I remember right. Of course, maybe Kylo's goofy crossblade would do something that'd not block the lightning properly so he'd want to not risk it here? He really should fix that at some point.

GM: So, are we ready to begin?
Poe: Yeah! I open fire on Kylo!
GM: Ochi’s ship has no weapons.
Poe: I run outside with my blaster!
GM: He’s way out of range. Also, you spot fighters, closing rapidly.

Poe: Rapidly, huh? I wait until they’re in range.
Finn: We need to get out of here! Rey! Come on!
Rey: What’s Kylo doing?
Kylo Ren: I’m watching dumbfounded. Who knew the Dark Side would ghost me and then call her back?
Rey: Needy much? Try not texting it a hundred times in all-caps.
GM: Fighters.
GM: Incoming.
GM: Are you leaving?
GM: Or chatting?
BB-8: Maybe we should split before someone else gets angry enough for Rey to unleash lightning.
