Trying to cover up something suspicious is always a tense moment. Or good for a laugh, depending on how it goes. Or both!
So make sure to have plenty of opportunities for players to have to do this with their characters. Whenever they are planning or executing something that could look suspicious to a passing guard/police officer/authority figure, consider actually having that passing person walk by and start talking to the heroes with some suspicion in their voice. And enjoy your players stammering through trying to explain what they're up to as innocently as possible.

And so I have something to expect in Episode IX! I guess Finn wasn't able to talk his way out of this one. Or maybe he was doing all right until Rose noticed the pile of stuff in the escape pod as shown by the camera focus, which instantly made her suspicious again. And then decided that this guy was just trying to lie to her face. Finn's face in the third to last panel is perfect though; it's like an adventurer who's just realized the treasure chest they'd opened grew a tongue, some teeth, and possibly hundreds of feet.
So now the question is: will Edgar find Rose and Finn before Rose finds someone else and drags Finn in as a potential mole? I'm pretty sure it's going to be Edgar as he's exiting the previous scene. And since Jim's got this wild money-making quest as well, I think I have to guess that he'll rope Rose in on this money-making with a promise of lots of shiny trinkets as a way to get Finn out. As part of a movie plot though? As exiting the ship in an escape pod seems to be off the table now.... I still think Edgar's going to do something to get Finn out of this situation. What that is, I'm not really sure, but he and Finn are the major characters in this half of the plot, so I think it's a safe bet that they'll stay in focus whatever ends up happening.

Rose: What’s that in the escape pod?
Finn: {nonchalant} Oh, just... souvenirs. Mementoes. First Order trinkets.
Rose: Trinkets? I like trinkets. Make life a bit more sparkly, don’t you think?
Finn: Sure, but... Look, I’ll level with you. I’m on a secret mission. These could be bugged. I’m flushing them into space.
Rose: Brilliant! When this pod goes, control panels will light up like Life Day trees! I love fireworks!
Finn: Dang. Rose, you have to keep this quiet.
Rose: Quiet? I don’t do quiet, mister.
Finn: If you don’t, the First Order could capture us and... torture us!
Rose: If nobody hates you, you’re doing something boring. I’m bored. Play with me.
[SFX]: ZAAPP!!! {Rose zaps Finn with the shock prod}
Rose: I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but sometimes their ideas are absolutely awesome.
