Episode 1745: At Harm's Length

Even the bad guys have parents. Like everyone else, they could regard them with fondness, or they could have poor relations with them. Either way, bringing them into the story in some way can make your villains seem more human and relatable.

Which may or may not be a good thing, but at least you have the option, and can consider using it some time.

[Reminder: Our guest commentators have not seen Rogue One. Part of the fun is seeing how their untainted impressions re-interpret the movie through the lens of our comic.]

Space French. We have more Space French.

All the conspiracy theories, all the wild mass guessings, we now have even more implications that the Space French people are in the "cut off their hands" family related to Anakin. Unfortunately, at this point, they will all be dead. None of them are force users. None of them are Force Ghosts.

But, we still have a ghost. A ghost in a Shell. [Interesting side note: I'm familiar with GitS from the TV series, but that according to Wikipedia was unrelated to the original anime. So much for complaining that the film changed the story :-). ] [ and, how do you solve the ending smiley face debate? ]

Will Newt Gundry (holy typo Dragon Dictate)...

Will Nute Gunray - sorry, "Gunlay" - turn out to be the hidden mastermind in Episodes VII, VIII, and IX? Will this "master mind" turn out to be running everything from the shadows?

If only there were any mind scans of the Space French people. If only we had something, some celestial mind recording, like an AI of the Tàrkin family.

For that, one of them would have had to have been a hidden Force user that did Force transcend instead of dying. And as any roleplayer knows, that's just impossible! That can't possibly happen.
