We now launch into a series of deleted scenes from the DVD, showing Anakin and Padmé visiting Padmé's family on Naboo. These scenes served no real purpose except to extend the development of the romance between the main characters. They also gave a chance for three more actors to have speaking parts in a Star Wars movie - only to be cut entirely from the script after filming their scenes.

Imagine having that on your acting resumé. "Played Padmé's sister in Star Wars, only you never got to see me on screen."

Anakin: Since we're on Naboo, how about we visit your parents?
Padmé: My parents?
Anakin: You do have parents, right?
Padmé: Uh, I guess so.
Anakin: Let's go see them.
Padmé: So... you want to... meet my parents.
Anakin: If that's okay with you, of course.
Padmé: Uh, sure...
R2-D2: {aside} Finally, some outdoor terrain I can roll on.
Anakin: Nice house.
Padmé: Well of course. I'm an ex-Queen, you know.
R2-D2: {aside} Ack, kids! Get them off!
Anakin: Are you going to introduce me?
GM: Why don't you play your whole family, Jim? Start with your sister.
Sola: {Jim} Er, hi... I'm Sall... er.. no.. Solly.
Sola: Let me take your bags.
Sola: Do you need any money?
GM: They're not henchmen. They're your family.
