Getting into an argument with the GM is a sure way of destroying a game. Unless you do it completely in character. Or at least can plausibly claim that you were in character the whole time and merely arguing with an NPC, not directly with the GM. To Annie of course, this isn't a problem, but the GM may be learning something here.
Yoda: Afraid, are you?
Anakin: A little.
Yoda: Fear is the path to the Dark Side. Fear leads to anger.
Anakin: But anger leads to passion.
Yoda: Passion leads to jealousy.
Anakin: Jealousy leads to nurturing.
Yoda: Nurturing leads to weakness.
Anakin: Weakness leads to humility.
Yoda: Humility leads to injustice.
Anakin: Injustice leads to heroism.
Yoda: Heroism leads to pride.
Anakin: Pride leads to patriotism.
Yoda: Patriotism leads to totalitarianism.
Anakin: Totalitarianism leads to power.
Yoda: Power... leads to suffering.
Anakin: I don't like... suffering.
Yoda: Mmmm. I sense much fear in you.
Anakin: No you don't.
Yoda: Do too.
